BERTRAND and Associate was established in March 1973. Then, the associates were Jean DERODE, Jean LACOURT, Guy FOURNET and André PLAISANT.

They are joined in November 1973 by Jean-Jacques BERTRAND. He became an associate on November 29, 1975, and is Manager since December 7, 1979.

Over the years, founding lawyers retire. They will be replaced by Isabelle MARCAILLOU-DEGASNE who will leave the firm in 2001.

Christophe BERTRAND, who became a lawyer in 1998, is an associate partner of the Firm since 2004.

Jean-Jacques BERTRAND practices this specialty since its origin. His first case was to assist Jacques ANQUETIL in quite a precursor litigation for the time between the five-time winner of the Tour de France and URSSAF (question of liability to the contributions by self-employed allowance and prices he received from Tour organizers).

At the same time that the case ANQUETIL, Me Jean-Jacques BERTRAND will intervene in the first dispute between a professional football coach to his club.
